“Margaret Mitchell: American Rebel” Newsreel
On this exciting evening my crew and I captured Georgia Public Broadcasting’s 50th anniversary gala which featured a sneak peek of the GPB original documentary, Margaret Mitchell: American Rebel, profiling the life of the late author. The benefit was held at The Georgian Terrace Hotel, the site of the gala dinner following the premiere of Gone With the Wind in Atlanta in 1939. Paying homage to the original premiere I stylized the video to give it that high contrast, black and white look and edited the voice over to capture the hollow sound of a 30′s news report.
